Conversations
Signed-in conversations are stored in a database on this server and linked to your account. Guest conversations last for up to 24 hours. The essential session cookie keeps your conversations separate from other visitors. It is not used for advertising.
When you send a chat message, your message, recent conversation context, relevant permitted knowledge, and the selected AI voice’s instructions are sent to the configured AI provider, currently DeepSeek, to generate a response. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information. AI voices are simulations and do not speak on behalf of real people.
Knowledge and private learning
The public digital counterpart uses information the owner has approved for public use. It cannot access the private learning transcript, inbox, unpublished drafts, or other visitors’ conversations. Supporting public references may appear below an answer.
The owner’s private learning workspace can save conversations and propose facts, preferences, speaking patterns, or decision patterns supported by the owner’s words. Proposals remain private until the owner explicitly publishes them. Privacy checks screen messages before saving; turns flagged as sensitive and turns marked off-record are excluded from the saved transcript and learning pool. Off-record messages still go to the configured AI provider for processing. The site’s storage controls do not determine the provider’s retention.
The owner can pause learning, review evidence, correct or reject proposals, and remove knowledge. Forgetting an entry removes its derived knowledge and excludes its supporting conversation turn from future AI context and learning; the original transcript remains readable until the conversation is deleted. Deleting a learning conversation removes its messages and derived knowledge together. Minimal suppression hashes and message identifiers help prevent forgotten material from being automatically learned again. Local backups follow the retention below.
Your controls
In the studio, you can download your conversations or clear the selected conversation. Account passwords are stored as salted hashes. You can change yours in the account menu. Guest data is removed when expired sessions are cleaned up; signed-in history stays until you clear it.
Private messages
The contact form stores your name, email address, and message in the site owner’s private inbox. These messages are not published and are not sent to the digital counterpart. Your email address is used to reply to you. To request deletion of account or inbox data, use the contact form.
Site storage
The site remembers your theme, motion preference, navigation view, and selected AI voice in your browser. There are no advertising or analytics trackers. Local operational backups are retained for up to 14 days, so deleted records may remain in those backups until they expire. The original pre-migration archive is retained separately to protect legacy conversations.
Access
The site owner can administer the server and database. Chat is account-isolated, but it is not end-to-end encrypted. Web server logs may contain IP addresses and request paths for operation and abuse prevention.
